FINAL CONFERENCE IN KARLSKRONA, SWEDEN.
April 17th and 18th at the KOCKUMS Shipyard, the Final Conference was celebrated.
Members of the Consortium presented their last findings and a conclusion of the know-how and experiences gained during the 32 months of R+D in this innovative project.
Finally the next steps towards building the first vessel, following this concept, were discussed and the application of new procedures and design in the next vessels to be built by the partners.
Special interest raised the large demonstrator of a frame section of the Demy-Hull in hybrid construction from aluminum and composite material.
